Gothic and Renaissance Old Town Hall is housed in the historic city center. The original Gothic building documented massive perimeter walls with arcades. Ages breathe well cellars, whose origin dates back to the fourteenth century.
In the entrance area of the Old Town Hall is the original Hall of aldermen - today's ceremonial hall of Ostrov. It boasts a preserved fragment of the original Renaissance paintings. The exhibition space is located in the attic of the Old Town Hall, which leads built classicist staircase.
The Old town hall is at present used as a ceremonial hall and a cultural centre. Apart from regular exhibitions of works by local and regional artists, there are permanent exhibitions The Tuscan Habsburgs and Big and Small Clockworks on the top floors.
