Right in the spa center of Karlovy Vary, in close proximity to the Hot Spring, stands the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. One of the most important Baroque buildings was listed as a national cultural monument in 2010. The church was built around 1733 on the site of a Gothic church and was designed by the Czech architect Kilián Ignác Dientenzhofer.
