The Singing Fountain in Mariánské Lázně is celebrating its 40th anniversary. It will sound again 🎶 at the opening ceremony of 2026 this Thursday, 3️⃣0️⃣.4️⃣. at 9 p.m. The opening evening will be complemented by an extraordinary ✨️musical accompaniment by singer Štefan Margita and Iris Moris on cello. The Singing Fountain consists of a circular pool with a diameter of eighteen meters with a twelve-piece stone sculpture of a stylized flower with a center made of polished steel. The fountain has ten basic spray systems, two of which are created by three hundred and thirty nozzles, the middle spray reaches a height of six meters. The entire fountain is controlled by a computer, which allows for the creation of interesting spray combinations including colored lighting. The author of the design solution is academic architect Pavel Mikšík.
