Karlovy Vary Art Gallery

As a cultural institution of Karlovy Vary and the region established in 1953, the gallery has been collecting and presenting to the public Czech 20th-21st century art by way of permanent and temporary exhibitions, publications, as well as cultural and educational programmes.

Short-term exhibitions mainly focus on Czech artists and on contemporary art expressed through different generation-based and artistic approaches. The most significant and valuable works of the gallery’s extensive collections of Czech art are on display permanently and consist of about 150 paintings and sculptures.
