The Kynšperk brewery was founded in 1595, when the Emperor Rudolf II. gave the city the right to produce beer. In the 19th century it was the largest brewery in the Karlovy Vary Region. At present, there is a brewery, a restaurant, a business shop, a playground, a mini-zoo and a beer spa hotel. 

The brewery is known not only for its unique beer, but also for many products made from beer: beer spirits - pivovice, home made ice cream from semi-dark beer, beer cosmetics, lemonade from hops - chmelonáda, malt bread...
