The Hieronymus Mine, a national cultural monument, is a unique witness of the mining culture and skills of our ancestors. Imposing underground chambers from the 16th century are located in the central part of the mine. In many places, the walls and ceilings are blackened by soot, which accumulated from fires that had been set.
The walls are grooved by the moyles and picks of miners from the past.
