Ostrov Summer Palace

The collections and exhibitions focus on Czech and Slovak 20th-21st century drawing and graphic art and on post-war regional art. Exhibitions showcase the abundant graphic collections, as well as the works of middle and young generation authors, with emphasis on new phenomena and alternative means of expression of contemporary artworks and new tendencies in graphic expression.

Intensifying attention is also given to regional authors and to cross-border collaboration with German galleries. The Ostrov branch of Karlovy Vary Art Gallery is also the venue of many artistic workshops, cultural events and programmes for schools.
