Sokolov Museum – Sokolov castle

The Sokolov Museum, the beneficiary of contributions from the Karlovy Vary Region can be found in the building of the Sokolov Castle. The permanent exhibition is located in 13 rooms on the first floor of the castle. 

The first part of the exhibition introduces the history of the region, the next part presents important industries for the region, such as the production of porcelain, glass (beverage bottles), musical instruments and, of course, mining. The conclusion is dedicated to the Nostitz family, the owners of the castle from 1622 to 1945.
