The ethnographic collection of the Aš Museum is currently housed in the renovated premises of the former city library and fire station on Poštovní náměstí.
The museum occupies the entire first floor of the former fire station. It presents short-term exhibitions, the oldest artifacts of the Aš region (the Resting Jesus Christ and the tombstones of Anna of Witzleben and Eustach of Zedtwitz, all artifacts date back to the 16th century) and, last but not least, everyday objects mainly from the 19th and first half of the 20th centuries. The museum also has the so-called Stained Glass Hall, a lecture room with 60 seats.
