The Textile Museum took its current form in 1966 when it was situated in the empire-style building constructed by the industrialist Klaubert on the site of the burned residence of the Zedwitz family on Mikulášský vrch.
The museum features an exhibition dedicated to textile production in the region, showcasing various machines from spinning wheels to looms, as well as finished products such as lace, clothing, colored fabrics, stockings, and gloves. The Textile Museum boasts one of the largest glove collections in Europe, with over 26,000 pieces.
Surrounding the museum are gardens where visitors can find various stone monuments, including stone crosses documented by the Aš Museum as part of the SPVKK society.
